Regional Light Expanded Regular

Regional Light Expanded Regular is a sophisticated typeface that draws its inspiration from the utilitarian aesthetic of late 19th-century European grotesques. Developed by the prestigious Production Type foundry, the Regional family seeks to balance industrial heritage with the needs of modern digital interfaces. The expanded width of this specific variant provides a cinematic and architectural presence, allowing the letterforms to breathe and command visual space without appearing heavy or cumbersome.

This Light Expanded weight is particularly notable for its airy internal counters and precise terminal cuts. It is designed to function as a high-end display face, where its horizontal stretch can create a sense of luxury and contemporary elegance. By revisiting the rigid structures of early sans serifs and infusing them with contemporary fluidity, Regional Light Expanded Regular offers designers a versatile tool for branding, editorial hierarchy, and minimalist graphic communication.
