Remora Corp W1 Ultra Italic

Remora Corp W1 Ultra Italic is a high-performance sans-serif typeface designed by Nick Cooke for the G-Type foundry. Part of the extensive Remora super-family, the 'Corp' variant is specifically tailored for corporate environments, offering a cleaner and more streamlined aesthetic compared to its sister series, Remora Sans. This particular weight and style, W1 Ultra Italic, provides a sharp, energetic slant that combines geometric construction with subtle humanist influences, ensuring that the typeface remains legible while conveying a sense of forward-looking dynamism.

The design features a large x-height, open counters, and meticulously balanced curves that make it an exceptional choice for professional branding projects. The Ultra Italic variant is especially effective in display settings, where its extreme lean and bold weight can capture attention in headlines, motion graphics, and high-tech advertising. It serves as a versatile workhorse for designers who require a font that is both sophisticated enough for executive reports and bold enough for modern digital interfaces.
