Remora Corp W2 Ultra Italic

Remora Corp W2 Ultra Italic is a distinguished member of the expansive Remora super-family, meticulously crafted by the renowned type designer Nick Cooke for G-Type. This specific variant belongs to the 'Corp' (Corporate) sub-family, which emphasizes a professional and structured aesthetic designed for high-end business environments. The 'W2' designation represents a specific width balance that offers a sleek profile, while the 'Ultra' weight provides maximum visual punch, making it one of the most assertive styles in the collection.

The design philosophy behind this typeface focuses on the intersection of geometric precision and modern usability. The italic slant is masterfully executed to preserve the stroke integrity and character legibility found in the upright versions, ensuring that heavy weights remain clear even in demanding print and digital layouts. Its clean lines and contemporary proportions make it a versatile tool for designers looking to convey strength, reliability, and modern sophistication in large-scale typographic projects.
