Remora Corp W4 Black Italic

Remora Corp W4 Black Italic is a distinguished member of the expansive Remora superfamily, designed by Gareth Hague and published through the Alias type foundry. This specific weight and width combination—part of the 'Corp' subset—was meticulously engineered to serve professional and corporate environments. It balances a clean, geometric structure with subtle humanist nuances, ensuring that even in its heaviest and most dynamic italic forms, the typeface maintains exceptional legibility and a sophisticated, contemporary tone.

The W4 Black Italic variant is characterized by its significant weight and energetic slant, making it a powerful tool for high-impact communication. Unlike more traditional sans-serifs, the Remora system offers a vast array of widths and weights, allowing designers to maintain typographic consistency across diverse media. This font excels in settings where a sense of authority, momentum, and modernity is required, providing a robust visual voice for both digital interfaces and high-quality print production.
