Remora Corp W5 Black Italic

Remora Corp W5 Black Italic is a heavyweight, professional sans-serif typeface designed by Nick Cooke for the G-Type foundry. It belongs to the expansive Remora superfamily, which is intelligently split into two distinct variations: 'Sans' for a more geometric approach and 'Corp' for a slightly more business-oriented, humanist-inflected appearance. This specific weight, W5 Black Italic, offers a powerful, slanted aesthetic that commands attention while maintaining a high level of legibility and modern sophistication.

The design features clean lines and distinctive terminal treatments that make it ideal for high-impact corporate branding and display typography. Its italic variation provides a dynamic energy, making it perfect for headlines or emphasis within complex typographic hierarchies. Since its release, it has become a go-to choice for designers who require a balance between authority and movement in both digital interfaces and high-end print media.
