Rider Wide Expanded Bold

Rider Wide Expanded Bold is a powerhouse typeface belonging to the expansive Rider super-family designed by Fontfabric. This specific weight is characterized by its heavy, ultra-wide horizontal proportions and rigid slab serifs, blending the raw strength of industrial typography with a clean, geometric sensibility. Its structure is built for maximum legibility and presence, making it a go-to choice for designers seeking to make a bold, uncompromising statement in modern layouts.

Historically, the design draws inspiration from classic mid-century grotesque and slab serif traditions but updates them for contemporary digital use. The thick slab serifs and low contrast between strokes provide a grounded, stable feel that excels in large-scale applications. It is frequently employed in high-energy branding, cinematic titles, and sports apparel, where its expansive width allows for dominant, architectural text placements.
