Rider Wide Expanded ExtraBlack Italic

Rider Wide Expanded ExtraBlack Italic is a powerhouse of a typeface designed to convey speed, strength, and industrial reliability. Part of the larger Rider family, this specific weight pushes the boundaries of horizontal expansion, creating a massive visual footprint that demands immediate attention. Its ExtraBlack weight, combined with the dynamic slant of the italic version, makes it an ideal choice for high-impact visual communication where power and momentum are the primary themes.

The design features clean, geometric lines with a distinct modern edge, drawing inspiration from automotive branding and competitive sports aesthetics. Whether used in digital layouts or print media, it maintains high legibility despite its extreme proportions. It has become a favorite among designers looking to create bold headers, impactful logos, and cinematic title sequences that require a futuristic or heavy-duty industrial feel.
