Rimouski Sb Regular

Rimouski was designed by Ray Larabie of Typodermic Fonts, a designer renowned for his prolific contribution to digital typography and modern sans-serif variants. This typeface draws its aesthetic heritage from the intersection of mid-century geometric modernism and late-20th-century digital efficiency. Originally developed to provide a cleaner alternative to standard rounded fonts, Rimouski has evolved into a versatile family that bridges the gap between cold industrial precision and a warm, approachable humanistic personality through its signature rounded terminals.

Technical analysis of the letterforms reveals a remarkably high x-height and generous character widths, which are essential for maintaining legibility in low-resolution environments. The 'Sb' (Semi-bold) variant offers a sturdy visual weight with monolinear strokes that provide architectural stability to a layout. Its open apertures and perfectly circular bowls create a rhythmic, predictable flow that reduces cognitive load, making it an exceptional choice for technical documentation and interface design where clarity is the primary objective.
