Rockwell Nova Light

Rockwell Nova Light is a contemporary update to the iconic Rockwell slab serif family, which was originally released by Monotype in 1934. This specific weight, Light, offers a more refined and elegant interpretation of the classic geometric structure, making it highly versatile for modern design applications. It maintains the characteristic blocky serifs and mathematical precision of the original while providing a cleaner, more breathable appearance suitable for sophisticated layouts.

The Nova expansion was created to bring the mid-century staple into the digital age, featuring enhanced character sets and improved spacing. Based on the foundations of Litho Antique, Rockwell Nova Light excels in both print and digital environments, bridging the gap between industrial strength and high-end editorial grace. It is particularly effective for designers who want the authority of a slab serif without the visual weight of the bolder versions.
