Roundhand Bd BT Bold

Roundhand Bd BT Bold is a classic script typeface based on the handwriting styles of the 18th-century writing master Charles Snell. Designed by the renowned type designer Matthew Carter for the Bitstream foundry, this font captures the essence of English Roundhand calligraphy. It is characterized by its elegant, flowing connections and the rhythmic contrast between thick and thin strokes, making it a staple for formal documentation and high-end design.

The bold version, specifically Roundhand Bd BT, offers a more robust and pronounced presence than its regular counterpart. It maintains the sophisticated flourishes and traditional aesthetic while providing better legibility at smaller sizes or more impact in display settings. It remains one of the most popular choices for wedding invitations, certificates, and luxury branding due to its timeless and authoritative calligraphic style.
