Rubber Stamp Std Regular

Rubber Stamp Std Regular is a classic display typeface that meticulously mimics the aesthetic of traditional hand-stamped lettering. Designed by Victor Caruso in 1990 for the International Typeface Corporation (ITC), it captures the unique imperfections, ink bleeds, and weathered textures characteristic of manual stamping processes. The heavy, blocky letterforms are evocative of industrial markings, postal stamps, and vintage office supplies, making it a staple for designers aiming for a rugged, authentic, or retro look.

Despite its highly distressed and textured appearance, the font maintains excellent legibility, making it an ideal choice for bold headlines and impactful branding. Because it is designed as an all-caps titling face, it is widely utilized to convey a sense of urgency, officiality, or a raw grunge aesthetic. It works effectively across both print and digital media, especially in contexts such as poster design, packaging, and book covers where a tactile, handmade feel is desired.
