SangBleu Sans Bold Italic

SangBleu Sans Bold Italic is a cornerstone of the revolutionary SangBleu type system, released in 2017 by the renowned foundry Swiss Typefaces. This specific style represents a departure from traditional sans-serif norms, blending high-fashion aesthetics with sharp, architectural precision. The bold weight combined with its dynamic italic slant creates a typeface that feels both authoritative and fluid, making it a favorite among creative directors looking to bridge the gap between classic editorial elegance and contemporary digital design.

The broader SangBleu collection consists of five sub-families, with the Sans category focusing on wide proportions and distinct, sharp terminals. The Bold Italic variant is particularly effective in high-contrast environments, where its unique structural details can shine. It was designed to replace the original 2008 SangBleu family, offering a more versatile and structurally sound toolkit for modern graphic designers working across print and screen media.
