Schar Black Regular

Schar is a contemporary humanist sans-serif typeface family designed by Nasir Udin. The Schar Black Regular weight specifically offers a robust and heavy presence while maintaining the elegant calligraphic undertones characteristic of the entire family. Its design balances modern geometric clarity with traditional stroke variations, making it stand out in high-impact display scenarios where personality and strength are required.

The Schar family was developed to provide versatility across both digital and print mediums. This font is particularly effective for branding and headlines where bold, authoritative communication is necessary. Its open counters and carefully crafted terminals ensure that even at its heaviest weights, the font retains excellent legibility and a sophisticated, human-centered aesthetic that avoids the coldness of purely geometric types.
