SF Distant Galaxy Alternate Regular

SF Distant Galaxy Alternate Regular is a specialized science fiction typeface created by Derek Vogelpohl of ShyFoundry. This font is part of the larger SF Distant Galaxy family, which was heavily inspired by the iconic lettering of the Star Wars cinematic universe. The Alternate version provides designers with slightly modified glyphs and spacing options compared to the standard weights, allowing for a more authentic recreation of space-opera-style titles and logos.

Characterized by its wide, geometric letterforms and distinct futuristic aesthetic, this typeface is a favorite for projects that require a high-tech or celestial feel. Its bold presence makes it highly readable in large formats, while the sharp, clean lines evoke a sense of modern technology and intergalactic adventure. It has been widely used in fan-made projects, gaming interfaces, and promotional materials within the sci-fi genre.
