Silent Hell of Cheryl Regular

Silent Hell of Cheryl Regular is a hauntingly distorted display typeface that captures the essence of psychological horror and urban decay. Created by the prolific design studio Chequered Ink, the font draws heavy inspiration from the gritty, atmospheric aesthetics associated with the Silent Hill franchise. Its letterforms are characterized by heavy erosion, irregular baselines, and a textured finish that suggests aging, rust, or weathered stone, making it an essential tool for creating a sense of dread.

The font is engineered to stand out in large formats where its chaotic details and distressed edges can be fully appreciated. It has gained popularity within the indie gaming community and alternative music scenes for its ability to convey a dark, visceral mood. Whether used for branding a haunted attraction or designing title cards for a thriller, this typeface provides a unique, nightmare-inspired aesthetic that is both legible and visually striking.
