Simply Rounded Gras Italique

Simply Rounded Gras Italique is a contemporary sans-serif typeface designed to bridge the gap between geometric precision and organic warmth. Created by Franck Montfermé, this bold italic variant features smooth, pill-shaped terminals that remove the harshness typically associated with heavy weights. The italic slant adds a sense of dynamic movement, making it a versatile choice for designers looking to convey speed and friendliness simultaneously.

Throughout its history, the Simply Rounded family has been embraced by the creative community for its high legibility in digital environments. This specific weight, the Gras Italique, is particularly effective in editorial design and modern branding where a bold, approachable voice is required. Its clean construction ensures that it remains clear at various scales, from mobile app interfaces to large-scale physical signage.
