SK Akademkniga Regular is a meticulous modern revival of the classic Soviet typeface "Akademicheskaya," which served as the primary font for the Academy of Sciences of the USSR. Designed by Tikhon Reztcov, this typeface maintains the rigorous academic standards and formal aesthetics of the original while being fully optimized for high-resolution digital environments and contemporary typesetting workflows.

The font is characterized by its high legibility, balanced serif proportions, and a strong rhythmic flow that makes it exceptionally suited for long-form reading. It supports both Latin and Cyrillic character sets, ensuring that the historical legacy of academic typography is preserved for a global audience of designers, publishers, and researchers.
