Sofia Pro Extra Light Italic

Sofia Pro Extra Light Italic is a refined geometric sans-serif typeface designed by Olivier Gourvat of Mostardesign Studio. Originally released in 2008 and redesigned in 2012, this font family has become a favorite among graphic designers for its modern, clean lines and its friendly, approachable character. The Extra Light Italic weight offers a delicate, airy aesthetic that provides a sense of elegance and fluid movement, making it perfect for high-end design contexts.

This typeface stands out due to its high x-height and balanced proportions, which maintain exceptional legibility across both digital and print platforms. The geometric construction is softened by subtle curves, allowing it to feel less mechanical and more organic than traditional geometric fonts. It is widely used in corporate branding, editorial design, and contemporary user interfaces where a sophisticated yet minimal look is required.
