Söhne Bold Italic

Söhne is the memory of Akzidenz-Grotesk through the lens of Helvetica. It captures the analogue materiality of Standard Medium, famously utilized in the New York City subway system's signage by Unimark. This typeface represents a modern interpretation of these classic sans-serif traditions, blending historical industrial roots with contemporary digital precision to create a versatile and robust typeface family that feels both familiar and fresh.

The Bold Italic weight offers a striking, energetic slant that maintains the font's characteristic straight-sided curves and tight apertures. It is meticulously designed to stand out in editorial layouts and high-end branding, providing a sense of urgency and authority. Its balanced proportions and sharp execution ensure it remains functional and legible even in demanding display environments where emphasis and personality are paramount.
