TikTok Sans 18pt ExtraExpanded Bold

TikTok Sans 18pt ExtraExpanded Bold is a contemporary sans-serif typeface developed by the design firm Grilli Type in collaboration with TikTok’s in-house team. Launched as part of a global rebranding effort, this font family was engineered to enhance the user experience by providing superior legibility across diverse digital environments and localized languages. The ExtraExpanded Bold variant is specifically crafted for high-impact visual communication, offering a wider stance and heavy stroke weight that commands attention in headlines and bold interface elements.

This typeface features optimized letterforms with larger opening apertures and clearer strokes, making it highly readable despite its bold and wide nature. The 18pt optical sizing ensures that the proportions and spacing are perfectly balanced for medium-to-large display use. It reflects a modern, tech-forward aesthetic that balances the creative energy of the TikTok platform with the professional requirements of a global communication tool.
