TitlingGothicFB Normal Medium Regular

Titling Gothic FB is a comprehensive sans-serif typeface family designed by David Berlow for the Font Bureau between 2004 and 2005. Inspired by the classic American gothic styles found in late 19th and early 20th-century metal and wood types, this family was built to offer an immense range of expression through its varied widths and weights. The Normal Medium Regular weight represents a perfectly balanced middle ground, providing a clean, authoritative appearance that avoids the starkness of lighter weights or the density of heavier bolds.

The typeface is characterized by its high x-height and narrow apertures, which contribute to its industrial and professional aesthetic. Unlike many traditional gothics, Titling Gothic FB was specifically engineered for high-resolution digital environments and complex typographic systems. It serves as a modern evolution of the ATF Railcutters and Franklin Gothic legacy, making it a staple for editorial designers and brand architects who require a versatile, legible, and structurally sound typeface for both print and screen.
