TT Fors Black Regular

TT Fors Black Regular was developed by the TypeType foundry as a specialized expansion of their versatile Fors family. Designed to bridge the gap between mid-century geometric principles and contemporary functional requirements, this typeface focuses on clarity and modern aesthetics. It draws inspiration from the rigid structures of the 20th-century geometric sans-serifs but refines them for the digital era, ensuring the font remains relevant for global branding and high-end editorial design.

The "Black" weight of TT Fors represents the family's most assertive iteration, characterized by massive letterforms that maintain surprising legibility. The typeface features a generous x-height and wide apertures, which prevent the dense strokes from feeling cramped even in tighter tracking settings. The geometric construction is evident in its perfectly circular 'o' and clean vertical terminals, while the stroke compensation at junctions ensures that optical weight remains balanced for both print and high-density screen displays.
