TT Fors Bold Italic

TT Fors was developed by the TypeType foundry as a versatile tool for modern branding and digital interface design. Drawing inspiration from the geometric principles of early 20th-century sans serifs, the family was engineered to function seamlessly across various media formats. The Bold Italic variant serves as a high-impact extension of the core family, providing the necessary emphasis for editorial design and complex information hierarchies while maintaining the clean, functional aesthetic that defines the TypeType catalog.

Technical analysis of TT Fors Bold Italic reveals a meticulously balanced x-height that promotes exceptional legibility at both large and medium scales. The letterforms are characterized by their near-circular ovals and consistent stroke thickness, typical of the geometric sans genre, but with a refined 12-degree slant that avoids common distortion issues found in lesser italics. The bold weight offers substantial visual density, yet the open apertures and sharp terminal cuts ensure that the glyphs remain distinct and readable even when used in high-contrast environments or against busy backgrounds.
