TT Fors Medium Regular

TT Fors Medium Regular is a contemporary geometric sans-serif developed by the TypeType foundry to serve as a versatile utility font for the modern digital landscape. Conceived as a bridge between classic 20th-century geometric principles and the functional demands of high-resolution screens, the font family was meticulously engineered to provide a neutral yet sophisticated aesthetic. Its origin lies in the pursuit of a universal typeface that avoids the rigidity of early modernism while retaining the structural clarity required for complex information architecture.

Technical analysis of the Medium weight reveals a masterfully balanced visual density that excels in both UI environments and editorial layouts. The letterforms feature a generous x-height and open apertures, which significantly enhance legibility at smaller scales by preventing ink traps and optical crowding. The geometric construction is tempered by subtle optical compensations—slight variations in stroke thickness where curves meet stems—ensuring a smooth, rhythmic flow. This specific weight offers enough gravitas for subheadings without sacrificing the breathability necessary for short-to-medium length body copy.
