Typold Extended Extra Thin Italic

Typold is a geometric sans-serif typeface designed by Jonathan Hill for The Northern Block. It represents a modern evolution of geometric forms, refined through mathematical precision to ensure optimal legibility and a contemporary aesthetic. The Extended Extra Thin Italic variant specifically pushes the boundaries of horizontal spacing and stroke weight, offering a sophisticated, airy feel that is both elegant and futuristic.

This typeface family was constructed with a focus on high-performance digital environments. The Typold Extended series is particularly effective in editorial design and luxury branding, where its wide proportions and sharp angles create a sense of premium quality and technological advancement. Its italic slant is carefully balanced to maintain the geometric integrity of the characters while adding a dynamic sense of motion.
