Typold Light

Typold is a sophisticated geometric sans-serif typeface family designed by Jonathan Hill and released through The Northern Block. The design is built upon mathematical precision and technical clarity, aiming to bridge the gap between traditional geometric constructions and modern usability. The Typold Light weight is particularly noted for its elegant proportions and refined strokes, offering a crisp, minimalist aesthetic that maintains exceptional legibility across both print and digital mediums.

The development of Typold focused on creating a versatile typographic system that feels both functional and contemporary. By incorporating wide counters and balanced kerning, the font ensures a smooth reading experience even in dense text blocks. This makes it a favored choice for designers seeking a high-end, professional appearance without sacrificing character. Its neutral yet distinct personality allows it to adapt seamlessly to various creative contexts, from corporate identities to high-fashion editorial layouts.
