Typold Medium

Typold Medium is a sophisticated geometric sans-serif typeface designed by Jonathan Hill and released through the award-winning The Northern Block foundry. The font is a central part of the Typold family, which was built upon a rigorous grid system to ensure mathematical precision and visual balance. This typeface represents a modern evolution of geometric design, focusing on improved legibility and a harmonious flow between characters.

The development of Typold Medium involved refining stroke weights and adjusting apertures to create a cleaner, more accessible appearance than traditional geometric predecessors. Its versatile nature makes it equally effective in high-resolution print and across various digital platforms. With its neutral yet authoritative personality, it serves as a robust tool for designers seeking a typeface that balances technical engineering with contemporary aesthetic appeal.
