barcelona Regular

Barcelona Regular was designed by the legendary typographer Edward Benguiat and released through the International Typeface Corporation (ITC) in 1986. The typeface is a distinctive serif design characterized by its generous x-height, short ascenders and descenders, and unique teardrop terminals. These features were specifically engineered to provide exceptional legibility and a contemporary flair while maintaining a rooted sense of classic elegance.

Throughout its history, Barcelona has become a favorite among editorial designers and brand specialists. Its structure allows it to function beautifully in both dense blocks of body copy and high-impact display settings. The font's sophisticated personality makes it an ideal choice for projects that require a balance of warmth, authority, and professional polish across both digital and traditional print mediums.
