Be Vietnam Semi Bold Italic

Be Vietnam Semi Bold Italic is a distinguished member of the Be Vietnam family, an open-source Neo-Grotesque sans-serif typeface specifically engineered to excel in digital environments. Originally released in 2019, it was designed with a particular focus on providing superior diacritic support for the Vietnamese language, ensuring that complex accents do not clash with surrounding characters. The family draws heavy inspiration from classic Swiss design while incorporating modern geometric sensibilities for a cleaner, more accessible look.

The Semi Bold Italic weight provides a robust and dynamic presence, offering enough visual weight for subheadings while the slanted style adds a sense of motion and emphasis. It is highly valued by UI/UX designers for its high X-height and generous apertures, which maintain legibility even at smaller sizes on high-density screens. Since its inception, the font has been widely adopted by tech startups and international brands looking for a professional, multilingual-ready typographic solution.
