Blacker Text Bold Italic

Blacker Text Bold Italic is a sophisticated wedge-serif typeface designed by Francesco Canovaro and Cosimo Lorenzo Pancini for the renowned Zetafonts foundry. Part of the larger Blacker family, this typeface was conceived as a contemporary evolution of the 'dark' editorial style popularized in the late 1970s. It features sharp, aggressive serifs and high-contrast strokes that provide a distinctive visual rhythm, making it stand out in any professional typographic hierarchy.

Unlike its Display counterpart, the Text version is meticulously engineered for legibility in body copy. It features slightly lower contrast, wider proportions, and optimized spacing to ensure that the Bold Italic weight remains clear and readable even at smaller point sizes. This font is a perfect choice for designers looking to combine vintage-inspired aesthetics with modern technical precision in both print and digital media.
