Bodoni Moda 28pt Regular

Bodoni Moda 28pt Regular is a contemporary revival of the classic Didone typeface family originally established by Giambattista Bodoni in the late 18th century. This specific iteration is part of the "Moda" series, which was designed to bring the timeless elegance of high-contrast Italian serifs into the digital age with precision. The 28pt optical size is specifically engineered to balance delicate hairlines with sturdy stems, ensuring that the font maintains its sophisticated character and readability at sub-display sizes and prominent sub-headings.

Developed by Owen Earl of the indestructible type* foundry, this typeface serves as a variable font project that addresses the historical limitations of static digital Bodoni cuts. By focusing on optical sizing, Bodoni Moda 28pt Regular avoids the common pitfalls of being too thin for text or too blocky for display. It represents a perfect marriage of historical craftsmanship and modern web technology, making it a staple for designers who require a touch of luxury and professional authority in their typographic layouts.
