Bodoni Moda 72pt Black Regular

Bodoni Moda is a contemporary revival of the classic Didone typeface originally pioneered by Giambattista Bodoni in the late 18th century. This typeface is defined by its extreme contrast between thick and thin strokes, vertical stress, and sharp, unbracketed serifs. The 72pt version is specifically optimized as a display face, ensuring that the delicate hairlines remain crisp and the overall structure retains its architectural elegance at large scales.

The Black Regular weight within the 72pt optical size is designed for maximum visual impact, making it a favorite for high-end editorial and fashion applications. Developed as part of a variable font project, it captures the historical essence of Italian typography while meeting modern digital standards. It serves as a bridge between traditional craftsmanship and the demands of high-resolution screen and print environments.
