Canva Sans Bold Italic

Canva Sans Bold Italic was developed as a central element of Canva’s global brand identity refresh. It was designed to provide a modern, clean, and highly accessible typographic experience that reflects the platform's mission to empower the world to design. This typeface replaces generic sans-serifs with a custom geometric aesthetic that maintains legibility across diverse digital environments and screen resolutions.

The Bold Italic variant is specifically engineered to provide emphasis and a sense of forward momentum within layouts. By balancing mathematical precision with subtle humanistic touches, it ensures that brand messaging remains approachable yet professional. It has been optimized for both high-density displays and standard print applications, making it a versatile choice for contemporary designers.
