Fedra Serif B Pro Book Italic

Fedra Serif B was designed by Peter Biľak and released through the Typotheque foundry in 2003. Originally conceived as a contemporary serif companion to Fedra Sans, the typeface was developed to handle the complexities of modern multilingual communication. The 'B' version specifically offers increased contrast and refined proportions, making it exceptionally well-suited for high-quality printing and sophisticated editorial environments.

The Book Italic weight of this Pro version highlights a delicate balance between calligraphic tradition and digital precision. It features sharp, angular details that maintain legibility at small sizes while providing a distinct personality for emphasized text. As part of a comprehensive type system, it supports extensive character sets, including small caps and multiple numeral sets, ensuring its utility in complex typographic hierarchies.
