Friz Quadrata Std Regular is a distinguished glyphic serif typeface originally created by Swiss designer Ernst Friz in 1965. The font is celebrated for its unique flared serifs and open bowls, particularly in the lowercase 'a' and 'q'. It was later expanded by Victor Caruso and Thierry Puyfoulhoux to include a wider range of weights and international character sets, making it a versatile tool for modern typography.
