Hezaedrus Light Italic

Hezaedrus was developed by Héctor Gatti as an exploration into the intersection of rigid geometry and fluid motion. Originally conceived as a modular system, it matured into a comprehensive sans-serif family that balances architectural structure with humanist sensibilities. The Light Italic weight was specifically engineered to provide a delicate, leaning contrast to the sturdier upright weights, maintaining the family's core DNA of square-based proportions while introducing a sophisticated sense of speed and editorial elegance.

Technically, the Light Italic variant features a refined slant angle that preserves the integrity of its geometric counters without distorting the letterforms. The x-height is notably generous, ensuring excellent legibility even at smaller point sizes, while the thin stroke weight emphasizes the mathematical precision of its junctions. The terminals are clean and sharp, and the subtle curvature in characters like the lowercase 'a' and 'g' provides a necessary softness that prevents the typeface from feeling overly clinical or purely mechanical.
