Kabel LT Light Bold

Kabel is a geometric sans-serif typeface designed by the German type designer Rudolf Koch and released by the Klingspor foundry in 1927. Named in honor of the then-newly completed transatlantic telephone cable, Kabel reflected the modernist spirit of the era, drawing inspiration from basic geometric shapes like the circle and the line while retaining a distinct, hand-drawn character.

The design is unique among geometric sans-serifs due to its eccentricities, such as the angled terminals on its strokes and the diamond-shaped dots over the 'i' and 'j'. The Light Bold weight provides a striking balance between elegance and presence, making it a staple for high-end graphic design and branding that requires a touch of Art Deco-inspired sophistication.
