Neo Tetra Regular

Neo Tetra Regular emerged as a contemporary exploration of modular geometric design, created by Indonesian designer Gunarta. Drawing inspiration from the sleek aesthetics of mid-century science fiction and late 20th-century minimalism, the typeface was developed to bridge the gap between retro-futurism and modern digital interfaces. Its development focuses on a strictly grid-based construction, ensuring a mathematical consistency across various digital environments that demands attention without sacrificing structure.

Technically, the font exhibits a remarkably balanced x-height that enhances readability even within its stylized, squarish proportions. The letterforms are characterized by their rounded exterior corners contrasted against sharp interior angles, creating a rhythmic visual tension that is rare in geometric sans-serifs. The stroke weight remains uniform throughout, which provides a solid, dependable color on the page and prevents the 'shimmering' effect often found in high-contrast fonts. Its wide apertures and generous open counters ensure the characters remain legible when scaled down, making it an excellent choice for branding that requires a distinct, technological identity.
