nutella Gras

Nutella Gras is a bold, geometric sans-serif typeface that is most famously associated with the visual identity and iconic wordmark of the Nutella hazelnut spread. The font is characterized by its heavy weight, circular proportions, and clean, modernist lines. It is largely based on or inspired by the ITC Avant Garde Gothic family, specifically the bold weights, which were designed to push the boundaries of geometric construction in typography during the 1970s.

This typeface has become a staple for designers looking to replicate the friendly yet impactful aesthetic of high-end food packaging. Because of its thick strokes and tight kerning possibilities, Nutella Gras excels in display environments where legibility and brand recognition are paramount. It offers a nostalgic yet timeless appeal, making it suitable for both retro-inspired projects and contemporary graphic designs that require a strong, stable presence.
