Pilat Extended Demi Regular

Pilat Extended Demi Regular is a robust industrial sans-serif typeface designed by Stéphane Elbaz of General Type Studio. This font is part of a massive family inspired by the mechanical and geometric shapes of the early 20th-century 'square' sans styles. Its architecture is characterized by a sturdy, horizontal focus that provides a sense of stability and technological sophistication, making it a standout choice for modern design projects that require a bold, authoritative presence.

The Extended variation of Pilat pushes the boundaries of width, creating a cinematic and architectural feel that is particularly effective in high-impact environments. From automotive branding to futuristic user interfaces, the font maintains a clean, minimalist aesthetic while its Demi weight offers a perfect balance between visibility and elegance. It serves as a versatile bridge between vintage industrial signage and contemporary digital minimalism, ensuring legibility even in complex layouts.
