Present LT Pro Bold

Present LT Pro Bold is a sophisticated calligraphic typeface originally designed by the renowned German artist Friedrich Karl Sallwey in 1974 for Linotype. The font was crafted to emulate the fluid, spontaneous look of natural handwriting created with a felt-tip pen. Its strokes are rhythmic and organic, offering a warm and personal aesthetic that stands out against more rigid, geometric typefaces. The Bold weight in the family provides a stronger presence and higher contrast, making it particularly effective for display applications that require both character and clarity.

Throughout its history, the Present family has been celebrated for its ability to bridge the gap between formal script and casual lettering. It features an informal structure that retains an air of elegance, making it a versatile choice for a wide range of creative projects. As a part of the LT Pro series, this version includes advanced OpenType features and an expanded character set, ensuring it meets the technical demands of modern digital design while preserving the hand-drawn charm of Sallwey’s original vision.
