Reborn v2 Regular

Reborn v2 Regular is a sophisticated evolution of the original Reborn typeface, meticulously crafted to bridge the gap between traditional serif elegance and modern digital display requirements. Originating as a boutique design project, this second iteration focuses on refined kerning and an expanded glyph set, drawing heavy inspiration from the high-fashion editorial layouts of the late 20th century. Its development aimed to provide designers with a tool that commands authority while maintaining an air of vintage grace.

From a technical standpoint, Reborn v2 Regular features a pronounced high-contrast stroke weight, characteristic of the Didone classification but with softer, more fluid transitions. The x-height is moderately elevated, which significantly improves legibility compared to more extreme display serifs, making it surprisingly versatile for short-form body copy. The letterforms are defined by sharp, bracketed serifs and elegant teardrop terminals, creating a rhythmic visual cadence that thrives in high-resolution environments and luxury branding applications.
