Rockwell Nova Bold

Rockwell Nova is an updated and expanded version of the classic Rockwell slab serif, which was originally produced by Monotype in 1934 under the direction of Frank Hinman Pierpont. The Nova iteration was specifically designed to refine the geometric proportions of the original typeface, making it more versatile for high-resolution digital displays while preserving its iconic, sturdy character.

The Bold weight of Rockwell Nova is characterized by its heavy, blocky serifs and uniform stroke width, which project a sense of stability and authority. This typeface is a hallmark of the 1930s industrial aesthetic, yet its clean geometric lines allow it to remain highly relevant for contemporary graphic design, particularly in editorial and corporate branding contexts.
