Scandium Light Italic

Scandium Light Italic is a contemporary sans-serif typeface that bridges the gap between technical precision and humanistic warmth. It features open counters and a generous x-height, making it highly legible in both digital and print environments. The Light Italic weight adds a sense of refined elegance and movement, characterized by a subtle slant that maintains structural integrity while offering a rhythmic flow to long-form text and professional documentation.

Created by the talented Ellen Luff, Scandium is part of a larger superfamily designed for high-performance branding and user interfaces. Its clean lines and modern aesthetic make it an ideal choice for tech-oriented designs, editorial layouts, and corporate identities. The italic variation specifically excels in highlighting key information or creating sophisticated typographic hierarchies without losing the font's characteristic clarity and neutral yet approachable tone.
