EquitanSans-ExtraLightItalic Italic

Equitan Sans is a sophisticated humanist sans-serif typeface designed by Diana Ovezea and released through the Indian Type Foundry. The design is characterized by its blend of geometric structure and calligraphic warmth, resulting in a face that is both contemporary and highly readable. The Extra Light Italic style specifically offers a delicate, ethereal quality that brings a sense of refinement and fluidity to any typographic layout.

The typeface features open counters and a generous x-height, ensuring that even the thinner weights like the Extra Light Italic remain legible on screen and in print. This font family is part of a larger super-family that includes a slab serif counterpart, making it an incredibly versatile tool for complex branding and editorial projects. Its slanted forms are carefully balanced to maintain the professional integrity of the family while adding a distinctive, elegant flair.
