Fira Sans Condensed Four Italic

Fira Sans Condensed was originally commissioned by the Mozilla Foundation for the Firefox OS, designed to provide high legibility across a wide range of mobile devices. Developed by Erik Spiekermann and the team at Carrois Corporate Design, the family was built as a modern, humanist sans-serif that evolves from the principles of the FF Meta typeface. The condensed version was specifically crafted to handle space-constrained environments while maintaining the open apertures and distinct character shapes that define the Fira family.

The Fira Sans Condensed Four Italic variant offers a refined, slanted aesthetic combined with a narrow footprint, making it an essential tool for designers who need to pack significant information into tight layouts. Because it is released under the SIL Open Font License, it has become a staple in the open-source community, widely adopted for web development, user interface design, and technical documentation due to its robust character set and professional appearance.
