Obviously Extd Blck Regular

Obviously Extd Blck Regular is a powerhouse typeface designed by James Edmondson of OH no Type Co. Released as part of a massive family that explores various widths and weights, this specific extended black variant captures a bold, unapologetic aesthetic rooted in mid-20th-century commercial signage and vinyl lettering. Its wide stance and heavy strokes make it an ideal choice for designers looking to command attention with a modern, industrial feel.

The design philosophy behind the Obviously family was to create a sans-serif that feels both familiar and strikingly fresh. By pushing the horizontal proportions to their limits, the Extd Blck style excels in high-impact environments where legibility at a distance is paramount. Whether used in digital interfaces or physical branding, its robust construction ensures a professional and high-energy presence that stands out among more traditional geometric fonts.
