Obviously Extd Bold Bold

Obviously Extd Bold is a standout member of the massive Obviously family designed by James Edmondson at OH no Type Co. Drawing inspiration from mid-20th-century American grotesque letterforms, this extended weight pushes horizontal boundaries to create a powerful, cinematic impact. Its wide proportions and sturdy construction make it an ideal choice for designers looking to command attention with a sense of authority and modern flair while maintaining a hint of vintage signage aesthetics.

Originally conceived as a versatile tool for high-impact display work, the Obviously series spans an enormous range of widths and weights. The Extended Bold variant specifically excels in environments where space is plentiful and the message needs to feel substantial. With its clean lines and subtle idiosyncratic details, it successfully bridges the gap between historical vernacular design and contemporary digital requirements, making it a favorite for bold branding projects.
