Obviously Extd Lght Regular

Obviously Extd Lght Regular is a distinctive part of the massive Obviously font family, designed by James Edmondson and released through Ohno Type Co. This font was inspired by the raw energy of 20th-century American signage and vinyl lettering, translated into a modern digital format. The extended width emphasizes a horizontal flow, providing a sense of stability and contemporary luxury that is difficult to achieve with standard-width grotesques.

The Light Regular weight within the extended subfamily offers a clean, airy appearance that maintains high legibility while exuding a sophisticated, high-tech vibe. Its geometry is meticulously crafted to ensure that the wide letterforms feel balanced rather than stretched, making it a favorite for designers who need a sans-serif that feels both nostalgic and futuristic at the same time.
