Obviously Extd Supr Regular

Obviously Extd Supr Regular is a powerhouse typeface designed by James Edmondson of Ohno Type Co. This font belongs to a massive family that explores the extremes of width and weight, specifically drawing inspiration from the vernacular signage found across the American landscape. The Extended Super variant pushes the horizontal boundaries, creating a cinematic and commanding presence that captures the spirit of mid-century industrial design while maintaining a contemporary, high-energy edge.

Functionally, this typeface is built for maximum visibility and impact. Its wide proportions and sturdy construction make it an excellent choice for branding, poster design, and digital interfaces that require a bold, unapologetic voice. Whether used in a brutalist context or as a clean, wide-set header, Obviously Extd Supr Regular offers a unique blend of vintage utilitarianism and modern sophistication, making it a favorite among graphic designers seeking to break away from traditional sans-serif constraints.
